Bathtime

So bathtime has become a really fun way to play, or so my sweet little splasher thinks. She loves, loves, loves the bathtub. She gets really excited at the edge of the tub when we start the water running and she's never more cooperative in getting undressed than when the tub is filling up.

Once she's in, play time is officially on. Most recently I had to pry her new snack container out of her hands (it lets her feed herself without as big of a mess, and she LOVES it), so she was bawling, until I gave her the big cup of magic. We use this huge stadium cup from a Husker game to poor water over her and wash her hair. Well it has become her favorite bathtime toy. She fills it with water from the faucet and pretends to drink it while spilling it all out. Over and over again. And when the water stops she looks and looks for more. She fiddles with the shower knob (you know that thing on top of the faucet) and tries to get more water out. Confused she looks at me and signs "more" while saying "this! this!"
Eventually she understands the water is done and is content to scoop up water and bath toys the rest of the time.
And I mean until the water is ALL gone. And then I have to put the towel on her in the bathtub and pull her limp body out of the tub or she'll just sit in their playing all night. Naked and shivering. Silly girl.
