It's February 26. Snow is falling like crazy and Pete is on vacation. We are thrilled to be hunkering down. Being the extra cautious type, it makes me ill sometimes the weather Pete drives in to get to work or get home.
But that's not what this story is about. :)
Addy loves flashlights. So this morning she grabbed hers while Pete was making eggs and I was trolling the internet looking for weather updates (no tv means twitter is my news source). Here is what I see and here from Addy standing in the kitchen.
I'm hiding it; I bet you can't find it!
Realizing she is hiding her light, I say, You gotta let it shine! Don't hide that little light!
Pete turns to pretend he can't find her light. Where is your light, Addy?
It's behind my butt. She's so sneaky.
I'm gonna let it shine!
So awesome. Conversations like this might be better in person, but they are a daily occurrence and we often turn to laugh at the silly things this girl says. Two is fast becoming my favorite age (minus the tantrums and selfish behavior).
