I had written a whole long post and just decided it was boring and aimless. What was my point? Probably to share that my mom is officially on hospice. I'm sad about this, I'm feeling weighed down about a lot of things.
I know hospice seems like a terrible thing, but it will really be a huge help. Don't think of it as giving up. It is a valuable resource for your mom and Greg. They will help with things you haven't even thought of. And some of those things Greg doesn't want to talk with your mom about, they may be able to help. They are professionals at what they do. Berniece (my step mom) was so anti them coming, but found them a huge blessing, and wished they would have been involved sooner. I hope Lisa and Greg get the same help from them that my folks did.
