We are in Florida. It's sunny and hot, but we are half a block from the ocean and have a pool in the backyard. Hanging out with the in-laws is generally pretty great. We tend to have a blast, with spats and tempers sprinkled in just to keep things interesting.

Lesson from day 1: Addy is TERRIFIED of the ocean. Who would have thought? This girl is practically a swimmer. Loves bath time, thinks water is awesome, and spent at least 1.5 hours in the pool today. Get near the ocean, and that little monkey whines like it's going to get up and eat her for lunch. We went for a walk along the beach at 6 and she whined and hid her face in my neck. It was so sweet, I wasn't really upset that she didn't like the ocean. She was the most cuddly she has ever been. We went back later and sat on a towel on the beach and she did ok for a few minutes, then the whine picked up again. No idea what that's about, but we're hoping a full week here will acclimate the kid to the ocean.

I took some great pics of my girl, but will have to leave you with just this one. She discovered what was under her towel and it all went down hill from there. :)
